Email With Social Marketing
Social marketing works well with an effective email program because the same relevant content can be used in the social media world. Some people will connect with you via email and others will connect with you via Facebook, Twitter, etc. Hopefully the content you're providing is content you already have within the walls of your company. I haven't seen a positive ROI when a company has to create content to send to their customers.
When you look at adding social marketing to your marketing efforts it's important to look at your communication strategy. You need to look at your content resources from a standpoint of offers, information, tips, videos, etc. and make a game plan for how that content is distributed. The same way a mom and dad have to have a plan on what information is shared when to their kids a company needs to be consistent when communicating with their customers.
