The USGA manages a membership to inform them of USGA related information, as well as provide USGA logoed merchandise. Selling the merchandise is one of the ways the USGA sees revenue for their efforts. Over the course of a 12 to 18 month period they saw a significant decrease in sales from their email.
After analyzing their email delivery metrics, we found that only 9% of the emails were actually being delivered to their membership. To increase the delivery rate, the USGA email campaign was migrated to our tier one level email platform and their email template was redesigned to conform to the latest email delivery standards.
Upon re-launch of the email campaign, through our platform and under the new design, the USGA saw a 98% deliverability rate on the very first email. They immediately saw a significant increase in the merchandise sold through the email.
